Eric’s Process Video10
How to check to see how much Resin to mix for each mold.
Also more weird dance breaks and Heckling from the Titles.

Success…..Red Candy Resin with Aztec Gold Micha powder inside.
Also, tonight I made my wife a mold for six large round beads and finished digitizing the Process Video….. woo hooo!!!!!

Mr. Fixit
Last night I salvaged two molds.
After the Silicone had off gassed I was left with a couple of very thin silicone walls on the molds of the pieces in question.
So I made a fence of packing tape around the offending area, put the original snugly back in their places and poured in 3/4 of an inch of new ooMoo30 that I bought at Utrecht(BLICK is always running out(so I paid a couple bucks more))
Wah Lah!!!!
This morning, just 6+ hours later…two fully functional molds.
Last night I also poured some New Resin that is a clearish candy red, with Aztec Gold Micah powder in it. Tommorrow night, there will be pictures. :)
And also maybe a resin pouring video. :)

Eric’s Process Video 6
Just a quick overview of what some finished frames ready to be made into RTV silicone molds might look like. It’s a shorty but a goody.
Gary? Are you there Gary? :)

Eric Process Video 5, this has been up on Youtube for 8 hours, but it is still good.
And it is still the geeting the frames ready for pouring the molding RTV silicone compound into them.
ENJOY!

This is video 4, it is an overview of the finishing tools for the post bake polymer clay.
using files, dremels and sand paper to make things look the way you want and then, using clear lacquer/spray paint to make things smooth so they get a good smooth glassy feel, if that is what you want.
Next up. Making the actual molds through framing with found plastic vessels an more clay.

Come with me to the magical land of FAIL!
Hastings Purple is actually Hastings Grape Jelly. Or Hastings Wine.
The fault is ALL mine.
I added too much in and it started getting cloudy.
It looks nice with light shining through it.
I think I need to make an intermediate version mixed with Blue. :)
And on a Blue note……..The Space Goddess is a ghost.
When I adeed the resin to Resin with no intermediate medium, like paint or varnish….the resins made themselves almost one thing….except maybe where my skin oils and violences to made a difference.
So, learn from my mistakes, my dear little muskrats. :)
Piece(of plastic) Out!

Here is Video 2 of Eric’s Process
