Blue and Clear Moai. Sometimes a “happy accident” occurs and something fun is the result. The first pour filled in most of the facial detail. And is a lovely light cobalty blue. The second pour was clear but it managed to take in the eye sockety area of the statue, so it is as if the eyes are clear. It’s a wonderful effect. When I presented it to the person who I felt deserved it, as per usual, she wore it around the party we were both attending and there were several “candy” comments. :)
Yes…it looks like candy. :D Easter Island Inspired Candy.
Later we all went to the LA Ur-Tiki Bar for closing time nightcaps.
